Sade released her First single "Soldier Of Love" today from her highly anticipated album by the same name. The album Isn't set to drop worldwide until February 8th ,2010.
I immediately loved the track (but maybe i'm a biased fan). I love that she has kept her Sade sound the same all these years. All too often you get artists who change with the times just for the money. But it's like what happened to your original fanbase. They loved your original sound for a reason. Though her voice sounds classic the instrumental is definitely more diverse. I didn't know if I wanted to break out in modern, african, or contemp jazz listenting to it. Makes me anxious to hear the rest of the album's sound!!! (also curious to see if Sade consists of the same band members)

Loved it. Loved the African drums etc etc...she modernized her sound a little bit but is still classic Sade. Just like we'd hoped :)
